Marina Yachting was founded in 1878 in Genoa, by Nicolò Gavino, who first imported Classic British Navy Pickots coats to Italy.

In 1972, Giorgio Gavino, developed the family business into a brand. Opening the first Marina Yachting store in Genoa, supported by a small collection, that now featured the famous spinnaker logo. The iconic product, yet again, was the Pickot, inspired by the products imported over 100 years ago.
