AFI Palace Cotroceni

AFI Palace Cotroceni is considered one of the largest and most dominant shopping malls in Romania. It has become the main entertainment and leisure destination in Bucharest. It has 300 retail units with anchors including Auchan hypermarket, all Inditex brands, H&M, C&A, M&S, LC Waikiki, Cotton and New Yorker; fashion stores such as Tommy Hilfiger, Stefanel, Cacharel,  Gant, Guess, Wolford, Mussete, Collins, Humanic, Benetton, Levi’s, Orsay, Mango, Lee Cooper, Springfield, Promod, Timberland, Nissa and Camaieu; electrical and home appliance shops like Domo, Flanco and Sony Center; cosmetics and drugstores such as Sephora, Sensiblu, Centrofarm and Plafar; food court tenants: KFC, McDonalds, Nordsee, Pizza Hut, Quasi Pronti, Chopsticks, Pizza Dominum and many others.

The entertainment part of the mall includes a 20 screen cinema complex and a 3D IMAX theatre operated by Cinema City, an ice rink, a roller coaster, two electronic casinos, a carting track, two children’s playgrounds, a bowling alley, a laser tag arena, electric train, XD theatre, alongside several cafés, including Starbucks, Paul, Gloria Jeans, and restaurants such as Steak House, El Bache (Lebanese) and Azzuro (Italian). 

The project was awarded as “Best Shopping Centre Development” and “Best Overall Development” in 2009 (CEE CIJ), as well as "Best Shopping Mall" and "Best Real Estate Project" in 2010 (SEE Real Estate Awards Gala).
